CPA National Day of Prayer for the Police - Thursday 25th May 2017

This event has been running for the last few years across the UK and is a great opportunity to have churches across Scotland engaged in praying for their Police service. Please remember your local Police in the week of this event.

The key prayer points are:

1. Police Officers and Staff

2. Safety whilst on duty

3. Success in bringing offenders to justice

4. Changes in Policing

Matthew 5:14 - “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Pray for your Local Police

Coact is a project of the Christian Police Association aimed at reaching out and building bridges between Christian communities and the Police across the United Kingdom.

We want to encourage prayerful and practical involvement in local policing, aiming to:

Build bridges between the Police and the local Christian faith community.
Build prayerful and practical involvement in local policing issues that are of direct relevance to Christian groups and the communities they serve.
Build stronger, safer neighbourhoods to help transform communities.
